The Miss Nigeria Beauty Pageant is the oldest pageant of all time and the most prestigious beauty competition in Nigeria since 1957. It is the only beauty competition recognized by the Federal Government of Nigeria and endorsed by the three paramount Traditional rulers in Nigeria. Miss Nigeria is an annual pageant show, which showcases positive attributes of Nigerian women and encourages entrepreneurial empowerment in the young women that participate. The winner portrays exemplary qualities and serves as a role model for young women in the country. The pageant is currently organized by African Times Network and Beth Model Management Africa. The pageant has gone through a metamorphosis of image re-vamp. In 2013, the girls represent their “individuality” and not a “state”, this is to promote the concept of unification amongst Nigerians and dissuade tribalism.

• fill in your details and upload required documents and click the submit button.

• There are no height restrictions. No tattoo is allowed. Swimwear segment is optional. You do not need a pageant or modeling experience to apply, in fact beginners are highly encouraged. Contestants are supplied with attires but they would have to come with their traditional attire for the grand finale. Contestants may not be married or pregnant. They must not have ever been married, not had a marriage annulled nor given birth to, or parented, a child. The titleholders are also required to remain single throughout their reign.

• be between the ages of 18 and 25 years old
• be Nigerian citizens
• be of good health and character
• not be married,mothers or pregnant
• speak fluent English
• not have tatoos or piercings

• You should wear a fitted kneel length dress or tank top and leggings / fitted jeans (please come neatly dressed). All hairstyle should be away from the face e.g. in a ponytail, braids packed up or corn rolls. (No long Wigs), no false lashes and no false nails. It is suggested that you come in high heel shoes.

• Bring proof of payment (Bank teller), application form, along with an ID card a copy of your birth certificate and 2 recent photos (one head shoulder and one full length to the casting venue.
